Hey there Auburn & Opelika fitness enthusiasts!
If losing weight is really hard because you have no time, here are five life hacks we use with clients to find the time!
1. Check Your Screen Time
The average adult spends over three hours a day on their phone. If you feel like there aren’t enough hours in the day, check your screen time. You’ll often find an hour or more you could repurpose for a quick workout or meal prep.
2. Work Out in the Mornings
Early morning workouts are less likely to be interrupted by traffic, work emergencies, or unexpected events. Plus, the energy boost you get will make you more productive all day, making it feel like you’ve gained time!
3. Learn to Say NO
Look at every commitment you’ve made for the week. If something doesn’t bring you joy, align with your goals, or could be delegated, remove it from your schedule. For example, you can free up meal prep time by visiting local partners like Clean Eatz or Proper Prep Services.
4. Embrace Batch Cooking
Spend 2-3 hours on the weekend batch cooking meals for the week. This can save you 6-10 hours during busy weekdays by reducing the time spent thinking about food, grocery shopping, cooking, and cleaning up. Weekday meals become quick grab-and-go options!
5. Maximize Small Pockets of Time
Have a spare 10 minutes at lunch? Go for a quick walk. Finished work 30 minutes early? Get your steps in around your neighborhood when you get home. You don’t need to find 5-10 hours a week to make progress—start with a spare 10 minutes here and there.
Conclusion
You don’t need a massive time commitment to make your goals a reality. Start small and build consistency. Every little bit counts!
