Finding Your Fitness Path: A Guide to Starting Your Health Journey

Hey Auburn / Opelika Fitness Enthusiasts!

I’ve talked to thousands of people over the last 10 years about their health & fitness goals, and there’s one common complaint I hear on an almost weekly basis: “I don’t know where to start.”

If you’re in that same boat, you’re not alone. There’s a thousand different options when it comes to tackling your health & fitness goals, so how are you supposed to know which one to go with?

You look at nutrition… Keto? Paleo? Low Carb? NO Carb? High Protein? Vegetarian? Vegan? Carnivore?

You look at fitness… Walking? Running? Swimming? Cycling? CrossFit? Zumba?KettleBells? BodyPump? Personal Training?

How the heck are you supposed to decide on what to do?

The short answer is, if you’re currently not doing anything, then something will be better than nothing.

The long answer is, it may take some time to find what works for you…. because what works for you may be different than what worked for your mother-in-law, or your co-worker, or your neighbor.

There’s no magic pill. If there was, everyone would be strong as an ox & never run out of breath.

Pick something, and give it an honest shot…. and just know, an honest shot is not a single trial session. Try something for at least 3-months, and assess where you’re at. Chances are, you’re going to be feeling loads better than when you started!
